Sofie Beys (°1992) is a designer and leather artisan driven by a fascination for form, material, and craftsmanship.
Her work combines a sculptural sensitivity with respect for traditional techniques. Each piece is thoughtfully designed and carefully constructed - exploring the intersection of function, tactility, and timeless design.

After earning a Master’s degree in Visual Arts, Beys developed a growing fascination with leather as a material. She refined her skills through an advanced leathercraft course in Milan, specializing in patternmaking and prototyping - supported by the King Baudouin Foundation.

Along her artistic practice in her own studio in Ghent, she also works at Atelier Sauveur in Aalst as a designer and leather artisan.
